Hatice Sultan Mosque Quick Guide

The princesses Beyhan and Hatice who were the daughters of Sultan Mehmet III originally built this mosque in 1805. The building was dedicated to their mother, Adılşah Kadın Efendi, who had been the third wife of the Caliph. The mosque fell into a major state of disrepair in the mid 20th century, and was rebuilt in 1977.
